Alex Reid Physiotherapy is mostly a medical aid practice and we submit for you! (This includes Discovery, Bankmed, Bonitas, Gems etc) However, some medical aids  don't have an Electronic Remittance Advice system (ERA). In that case we require you to pay upfront and claim back yourself. We accept cash, debit and credit cards with payment due after each session attended if claim rejected or medical aid not part of ERA system such as Sizwe, Medihelp, Hosmed, Camaf, Profmed etc. As far as possible the fees are charged within the prescribed medical aid rates but slight variations may occur depending on the nature of the intervention.  

 

Your first consultation is charged at a set rate and includes a complex evaluation (to fully understand your symptoms) and a short treatment session. There after the consult fee lowers at a varying rate based on the nature of your condition and the high quality intervention required.

 

Physiotherapy fees are dependent on the required treatment modalities as described by the guidelines of the National Health Reference Price List (NHRPL) in accordance with the expertise of the therapist. Further details will be provided telephonically with the booking of your appointment
